Finally! The right man for the job! I am so proud of America for finally putting an African-American in office, but it his character and leadership abilities that set him apart.
I have found people who don't support him, don't understand the issues at stake. They believe a bunch of lies and get hung up on things that are practically irrevelant (i.e. I am against abortion, but have a Republican try to explain to me how a Republican candidate is going to stop abortions. We have had Rebublicans in office for 20 of the last 28 years and it still stands. Get over it.)
My babies want their dad home and we are tired of sending him and our friends off to fight a war for oil that is making a bunch of rich people richer.
I couldn't sleep the night before the election, and bawled with happiness at the victory and all through Obama's speech. I have struggled with feeling patriotic over the last 8 years and I finally got it back last night. Hallelujah!
Sorry to bombard your blog, (I found you on EnchantedDandelion's blog)but I just got so excited reading about someone else's happiness about our new president. I can't stop grinning!
